Welcome to The Garage Wood-shop Blog. My name is Bob and I have loved woodworking for as long as I can remember. Little by little I accumulated tools through the years. Now it seems I have too many tools (if there is such a thing) and not enough room.

I started this website as a way to promote woodworking and help people develop their woodworking skills as well as my own. I have a good mechanical background and a decent background in construction having worked for the past 6 years in a building supply. The areas of construction that are my strongest are roofing,  siding,  and HVAC. I will be posting projects on my projects page as regular as I can. If there is anything you are having trouble with, or a project you are planning Let us know about it. Maybe we can help and help you save money too. At worst If I don’t know the answer I will do my best to find it for you. One of my favorite expressions is “knowing the information isn’t as important as knowing where to find it” Thanks Bob
